We are a supporter!!!

We are delighted to announce that Arthur Hudson Site Engineers Ltd has joined Mates in Mind. They are a registered charity that provides a framework to raise awareness, address the stigma of poor mental health and improve positive mental wellbeing for UK construction.

As a Supporter of Mates in Mind, we want to demonstrate our commitment to improving the health and wellbeing of our workforce. Mates in Mind helps us take an important step towards breaking the silence and stigma that can surround mental wellbeing in society and in particular, in the construction industry. #matesinmind #mentalhealth #support #construction

Framedeck - Doncaster Cinema

We attended site recently with Framedeck at the new Doncaster development. We were lining steel and surveying columns ready for the next stage.

Severfield UK - Nottingham

We are at Unity Square, Nottingham, checking line and level of the columns being installed by Severfield UK on a new HMRC building.

Well done Billy!!

Our employee of the month for December was Billy. He worked really hard for this award. All of his paperwork is sent in on time, he sends photos daily and is always quick to respond to all queries from the office. We have had some excellent feedback from site about his work and are really happy with his attitude and progress. Well done Billy!

We have been doing some more local work (which we love) for Hardy Rose in Retford. This time it was something a little different; surveying this beautiful derelict church that is currently being renovated. It was a beautiful place to spend some time and we would love to go back and have a look at the finished project.

No matter how much you know you can always learn more.

We love to see our employees progress and develop in their roles here at Arthur Hudson, which is why we like to encourage them to do any training that we feel they would benefit from, or that they ask us to do. So this month Kostas has become the 6th engineer to have his St John's First Aid Training.

Also two of our engineers have started their IOSH Managing Safely courses. We are looking to roll this course out to a few more of our lads as we hope to eventually have four engineers who can manage sites.

Well done Wojciech!!!

He is the first person to receive Employee of the Month, and doesn't he look pleased!! He has received some fantastic feedback from a new customer we did some work for, and as a result we have been able to to some more work with them. Great stuff Wojciech!

It has been fantastic to have been able to work on some really local work these last few weeks, just round the corner in Newark. Not only is it great to be able to work local but we have been found by other small local businesses.
Both JL Steel and Tower Crane Training are based in Newark and we really hope to do more work with them in the future

Here at Arthur Hudson, having happy employees are just as important to us as having happy customers. With that in mind we came up with a way of showing our employees their hard work isn't going unnoticed.
From October 2018 we implemented the Employee of the Month Scheme, which gives them not just the knowledge that their hard work is being recognised but also a voucher for them to treat themselves. We base our decision each month on a few factors; any feedback from site, their communication with us at the office, whether they get all their paperwork in on time and also their enthusiasm towards their work.

At Arthur Hudson we have been working hard over the last few months to ensure that we are making the business as streamline as possible to both grow and improve. We are implementing new ways of working to make sure that our processes are as efficient as possible, which has included moving over to a cloud based system. This has helped us to share best practice and work together in a productive and collaborative way.

The office staff at Arthur Hudson Site Engineers LTD are joining a thousand other men, women and children taking part in the St Barnabas Hospice Moonlight Walk in Lincoln on June 9th.
St Barnabas Hospice is the leading charity in Lincolnshire providing support, palliative and end-of-life care to adults living with life-limiting or terminal illnesses. The staff at St Barnabas offer home care and in hospice care 365 days a year; whilst also having a palliative care co-ordination centre that provides advice and support for carers, patients and their families.

Having previously taken part in Save the Children Christmas jumper day, Arthur Hudson is passionate about supporting both local and national charities.

Arthur Hudson’s MD, Nick Fairhurst, said “We are so excited to attend and fund-raise for such a fantastic event. It’s going to be a great night raising vital funds and awareness for St Barnabas Hospice. The amount raised from the event will go towards providing care and support for people living with life-limiting or terminal illnesses.”

The ‘Hudson Honeys’ are raising money by walking 10K in the moonlight. The walk begins at 10pm and will take them on a tour of the city, dressed in pink and raising money for a fantastic charity that provide care and support for people living with terminal illnesses.
